Jason Magbanua Closes VIDEO 08 Tuesday

Bringing an entertaining speaking style to match his incredible video production skills, Jason Magbanua showed VIDEO 08 attendees why he’s one of the industry’s brightest stars.

Despite the very short notice of his being added to VIDEO 08 (his visa approval came one week before his session), Jason still drew enough attendees to fill two ballrooms for a 9:30pm program start. In the storytelling opening of his presentation, Jason revealed that he doesn’t know how to drive.

In a 75-minute presentation, Jason ran through the various elements that have been a part of his business success. Central to his achievements has been blogging, but Jason recommended being “relentless” in the pursuit of success.

“It was like being in the presence of a true genius,” said Sandy Buller, President of the Houston Professional Videographers Association. “He’s an amazing artist”, said Steve Fowler, of VIDEOEXPERTS, adding, “He has all the concepts, from business to marketing to delivery. And he’s got a great personality”.

Although Jason discussed the equipment he uses in detail, the fact that he has shown incredible video that was recorded with a cell phone shows that skill trumps hardware for Jason Magbanua. More important, insisted Jason, was branding.

Following his presentation, Jason engaged in a 15-minute Q&A session. At the end, he introduced a Collected Works DVD that he was making available for $100.00. The very limited remaining supply will be available at the VIDEO 08 registration counter until the close of the conference, or that supply runs out.

The VIDEO 08 vlogs will also begin with the close of the Tuesday programming.
