“I’m Not Dead Yet” says Standard Definition,
but new camcorders seem to be available only in an
HD format, and virtually every NLE has HD capabilities.
Many videographers are shooting in both HD and SD
on the same project and mixing them in post. So many
questions are already being asked, like what affordable HD cameras
are available now and are they easier or more difficult to operate?
What are the hardware and software requirements to edit HD footage?
How much time will be spent rendering? Will HD make me more money
or just cost me more money? Will the customers really know the difference?
