SUPER SESSION WORKSHOPS

Sunday, 7:30am - 7:30pm and Monday, 10:30am - 7:00pm

It’s NOT a Love Story!
It’s a Unique Interactive Workshop
That Cuts To The Heart of Education

Randy Stubbs
Silver Star Enterprises, San Diego CA

This is NOT “How to Produce a Love Story”!
It’s a unique interactive workshop that
cuts to the heart of event video education.

Randy Stubbs, one of the most decorated, award-winning, self-proclaimed
vidiots in history will show you new ways to see, capture and enhance. These
production principles can be applied to your coverage of any event.

This is what you will experience and learn:

How to train yourself to see interesting, creative, and cool new shots

How to actually obtain these shots

How to use them to their fullest in the editing process

How to tastefully spice things up with sound bites
to make it both personal and emotional

How to use sound effects, pacing, and music

How to use optimum camera angles, lighting and subtle video effects to flatter the
couple as much as possible. After all, we don’t always work with Ken and Barbie!

How to make the couple look and sound as incredible as possible, while
accurately depicting what they are all about. You’re editing for them!

How to learn from the collective knowledge of the entire group,
which is a very powerful and overlooked tool!

How to enhance your creative process and your organizational
process as well. Learn how they go hand in hand

How to sell style, not stats

As a bonus, all attendees will receive Randy’s
organizational forms (in MS Word) to use and keep.

And if that ain’t enough, check this out!

Both The 4EVER Group and Randy feel that it is important to
show couples, other vendors, and even fellow videographers that we,
as an industry, are a force to be reckoned with. We have powerful skills
and complex equipment that takes years to master. We demand to be
looked at as the valuable professionals that we are. One fantastic way to
prove this is to show that we can produce any flavor of video that
the client wants; that we can match the style in which we shoot and edit
to the couple’s personal tastes, not OUR tastes. This takes us out of
the anyone can do it, cookie-cutter mentality that taints the
perception of our skills and value. We feel this is an important lesson
that needs to be screamed from the mountain tops!

Together with the group, you and Randy will demonstrate exactly
that point through a unique, new seminar twist!  You, too, will get to dig in
and edit the footage, so we urge you to bring your laptop and be a part of
the coolness!  That’s right - on Day 2 (Monday) after Randy explains
and demonstrates the why and how of each editing decision, we will
break into editing groups. In those groups, the attendees will actually edit
using the exact same footage. The catch is that each group will edit in totally
different styles with different music. In the end, we will have 5 or 6 completely
different short montages that all use to the same footage, but are
cut to different songs. How cool is that? How fun is that? More importantly,
how educational is that, as all of us to learn from each other under the
guidance and direction of Randy Stubbs? This is not a competition,
but an unparalleled educational experience. Something like this has never
been attempted before, but surely will be talked about plenty.

Open your mind and skill set to new possibilities
and new inspiration. Come be a part of it!
