Even Britney
Can Lip Sync!
The Evolution of Wedding Day
Music Video Production

Don and Miriam Moran
Omaha Wedding Video, Omaha NE

Introduced to the US by the late, great Graham Fenton in 2001,
the Wedding Day Music Video (WDMV) can be a fun, stress-relieving option
for your bride and groom – and a great way to increase your revenue.  While not the
newest concept, the WDMV is still a unique production, and it is a great way
to stand out in your market.  Inspired by Graham, Don and Miriam Moran
now regularly sign brides specifically because they offer these awesome videos,
and often simply because the client viewed the clips on their website.

Along with the bride and groom, they carefully select the song. From there,
the couples learn the lyrics, and then lip-sync to the song at various times
during their wedding day.  It takes less time to produce a WDMV than you may
think. You’ll learn how to decide what style is best for your couple, what
props you may need, and what locations will work best, along with
tips on how to get the best performance from your couples.

Don will show you their system for production planning, which is the
key to a successful WDMV.  Learn all of their pre-production tips, their
methods of capturing the necessary footage, and how to easily edit the
finished product. This production will wow the bride and
groom and drive even more couples to your door.

It Is a Sound Design
Creating the Ultimate
Multi-Sensory Viewing Experience

Laura and Steve Moses
Vantage Point Productions, San Dimas CA

Members, Professional Videographers Network

What is Sound Design, and why is it an
essential component of high-end productions?

Sound is one of the most reliable generators of emotion in the
filmmaker’s arsenal. It has its own value and is not there just to help the visuals.
It is no less important to the viewer’s experience than the cinematography.

In event videography creative sound editing plays a crucial role, and yet tends
to be underutilized.  Sound is what separates us completely from photography; and,
it’s by effectively using this unique aspect of our medium we add value to our craft.

Learning how to use sound as a defining creative tool will add texture, emotion,
and credibility to wedding, concept, and love story productions. Effective use
of sound goes far beyond properly captured vows and toasts. Ambient sound,
walla, dialogue, sound effects, and sound bites are the underutilized keys that
will unlock a film’s complete potential - taking it to an entirely new level.

Let Steve and Laura take you on a journey of sound with their award-winning clips,
humor, and practical, no-nonsense instruction that will enable you to
create premium productions that command top dollar. Don’t stop with great
cinematography, and limit your earning potential, when you can maximize
emotional impact, establish a connection with the audience, and create
the ultimate multi-sensory viewing experience with sound design.
